First of all...the KingPANO will rotate a full 360 degrees on both axis. This makes it fully spherical where my competitors can only tilt up to 60 - 70 degrees.
If you loosen the large thumb screw that connects the NPCA and the HStab you can tilt it up and down for multi-row panoramics. This is the main reason in making the KingPANO. An inexpensive alternative to the high price, heavy, and bulky spherical panoheads.
The Nodal Point Control Arm(NPCA) is attached to the HStab via a carriage bolt and a large thumb screw. It has a large rubber gasket between the two to give it a little bite to hold it securely. It has marking on it (not visible on computer generated images) every mm to help you to find your "Nodal Point" it is also referred to as a "entrance pupil." It also has a pitch indicator every 5 degrees with number every 15 30 45 60 75 90.
