This is the universal camera adapter. It attaches to the bottom of your camera via the tripod mounting hole. It has a anti slip coating on the opposite side which grips your camera incredibly well. In the past, cameras had the tripod mounting hole directly over the film plane inline with the center of the lens. Today, because of the technology that is crammed into these compact wonders it seems that tripod mounts are an after thought. They appear all over the bottom of the cameras. This adapter should fit all digital cameras on the market. The adapter is shown on a DSLR which the mounting hold is inline with the film plane.
